Being Obese Can Cause Sleep Apnea - How and Why?
Obesity and Sleep Apnea are co-related in such a way that one can cause the other. The resulting health related disorders are so severe if this cycle goes on, that, controlling weight gain or obesity with changed lifestyles is the only remedy. It is more common in obese people and this in turn causes obesity. Weight loss can correct the underlying causes of both obesity and Sleep Apnea reducing the severity of debilitating health problems like cardiovascular disease, stroke, high BP, arrhythmias, diabetes, and sleep deprived automobile accidents.
