It was Aretha Franklin's personal goal for 2011 to be a size 16 before her March birthday, a goal which she attained. Ms. Franklin has lost approximately 85 pounds in the last year, and the singer began her personal transformation by modifying her eating habits. She started to swap her hamburgers for salads, and she began exercising 3-4 times a week. In a recent interview with Wendy Williams, she also admitted to drinking copious amounts of water, because water acts as a natural method of flushing toxins from the body.
