Obesity: Don't Be Enslaved by Numbers
Most of us know that the reason we gain weight is we are consuming more calories than we are using. There is an imbalance and the extra calories are stored as fat. Most of us also know that the solution is not as simple as "eat less, exercise more". There are huge ramifications when we decide to embark on a program to change how we "do life". For one thing, caloric intake isn't a precise art. Unless you eat exactly the same thing each and every day and weight the portions in order to ensure that you not serving yourself even a bit more or less than the day before, your caloric intake will vary...perhaps by 200 calories or more.
