There are a couple of classes of yorkies that are recognized by the AKC and other registrars. There is really no such thing as a teacup yorkie. Although some breeders will try to pass off some smaller yorkies as a teacup yorkie and charge a lot more for it. The very tiny yorkies will only be about 2-3 lbs when full grown. These are very rare. The average yorkies is about 7 lbs.
You can take a yorkie just about everywhere you go - if they are well behaved that is. Just put them in a purse carrier and nobody will even know they are there. If your yorkie can be quiet, you can take him shopping, to church, even to the movies.
